The Queensland Kyudo Association (QKA) is the recognised state body responsible for the administration and development of Kyudo within Queensland.
QKA operates as a not‑for‑profit association and functions in alignment with the Australian Kyudo Association (AKA), the national governing body for Kyudo in Australia and a recognised member of the International Kyudo Federation (IKYF).

Governance and Committee
The Queensland Kyudo Association is administered by an elected committee made up of Queensland‑based Kyudo practitioners who serve in a voluntary capacity.
Committee responsibilities include governance, coordination with the Australian Kyudo Association, and supporting the needs of Kyudo practitioners within Queensland.
Committee positions typically include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and State Representative to the Australian Kyudo Association
Relationship With Australian Kyudo Association
The Queensland Kyudo Association is formally affiliated with the Australian Kyudo Association.
Through this relationship, Queensland practitioners obtain national membership recognition, insurance coverage, and access to national seminars, examinations, and taikai. QKA participates in national governance through representation on the AKA National Council, ensuring Queensland Kyudo activities remain aligned with nationally and internationally recognised standards.
